What’s it like to work at Transmed

Transmed is my second home for over 4 decades. My journey started back in 1985 as a senior accountant in the F&A department and currently I am the Personnel Manager in the HR Department. What is special and unique about our company is the wise management and the family culture. Talent Acquisition Executive

20 years in Transmed and still learning, I have had the most diverse experience, a career that started back in 2004 as an account executive, followed by unit manager and category manager in both food and non-food. Currently, I am leading the non-food business development in UAE (United Arab Emirates) as part of my learning I was also sent to work for Procter and Gamble for a period of two years I do not think any organization has the capacity to provide this kind of exposure to any individual. The company has not just helped me develop professionally but it has had a big impact on me personally as well, it's helped me build my character and made me aware of my emotions and how to manage others' emotions as well.This is an outcome of best-in-class training programs either internally with our suppliers or specialized courses from some of the best universities in the world. It has been a constant learning and development journey. Transmed has successfully developed this sense of belonging and ownership amongst its people who believe organization growth is their own growth, all focused on one goal. The company says people are at the heart of the operation, and Transmed truly walks the talk I joined to welcome many executives, but Transmed truly made me a leader.

This year I celebrated my 30th anniversary at Transmed and what a journey it had been! Ever since my early days as a sales person in the UAE, I had been provided with opportunities for self-development, career progression and multi-faceted exposure. I have travelled the world with Transmed and was privileged to work in most of its operations: from the Gulf to the Levant to Africa ,yet the highlight of this was my recent appointment as Chief Operating Officer for the Transmed Group…. My main responsibilities consist of Group Consolidation and Monthly reporting and analysis of all of our markets’ financial results to give top management accurate data that support their strategic decision making.
