Transmed UAE implements automated Warehouse Management System (WMS) 03-26-2008

Following the successful implementation of the Automated Warehousing Management System at Transmed’s Jebel Ali warehousing facility over a year ago, Transmed UAE has completed a successful roll out of WMS at its main distribution center facility at Dubai Investment Park. Go live took place on January 13th 2008, following several months of training and preparation.

WMS provides exceptional capabilities in automating the logistics operation relying on radio frequency enabled hardware to achieve maximum efficiency and accuracy in lot control, inventory accuracy, FIFO, traceability, space utilization, picking accuracy and order fill rates.
